Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament Betty Bambooze Bakireke is crying out to government to clear her request and allow her go for medical treatment in India.

Nambooze says that Doctors have recommended her to go abroad for special treatment due to complicity of her disease and all is left for the medical board to look into her request before the prime minister consents.

It’s remembered that Nambooze is one of the members of parliament who were admitted to hospital after soldiers from the Special Forces Command evicted members of parliament as members were blocking the amendment of the article 102 b of the constitution.

However the Director of communications at parliament Chris Obore says that they have not received any formal request from the Medical board or instructing them to foot the medical bill of Nambooze.

Obore says that they have advised Nambooze’s doctors on how to go about this process this is what they are waiting for to take her for further treatment
