Fire has gutted a rubber company identified as rocky industry manufacturer of gum boots, sandles located at Seeta Mukono near victory church.

It’s said that, fire gutted at around 11 am by one of the employee in this company who has burnt rubber residue materials which are within the company premises.

when it spread to the factory building he tried to put it off with help of neighbors but the failed and decided call fire brigade from Mukono to rescue the situation.

Speaking to eye witnesses, say that fire was caused by an employee who was burning the residues near the factory.

According to Mukono district police commander Rogers Seguya has confirmed this and said that police is carrying out investigation to give out a conclusive report about the cause of fire.

In addition, he says that as police has found a hard time due to inadequate fire facilities that can enable them to stop it in.

He has thanked citizens for responsibly informing police in time that has helped them to stop the fire out.
